No. Voters open a link in any browser on their phone, tablet, or laptop. There are no downloads, no accounts, and no sign-ups required.
No. Each voter receives a unique token that can be used once per round of each election and once per motion. The server checks every ballot, so a second vote with the same token is refused.
They can vote on paper. The app prints paper ballots, and a volunteer enters them at a password-protected Paper Ballot Entry station, where they are counted alongside the digital votes. Every vote is counted — no one is left out.
Yes. Tokens are not linked to member names, and the votes are counted anonymously. For emailed tokens, addresses are used only to send the link and are never linked to a token or a vote.
Yes. The Church app supports separate elections for elders and deacons within the same session. You can switch between them and run as many rounds as needed for each office.

Yes. The Church app has a separate consistory voting module for electing the chair, vice-chair and secretaries among consistory members. It has its own tokens and password, independent of the congregational election.
Yes. Both apps include surveys at no extra cost. Upload or paste your member list, and each person is emailed a personal link that works once. Surveys can close automatically on a date you choose, and you can print paper forms for anyone without email.
By default, yes. You can see who has responded, but not which answers belong to whom. If you need to know who said what, a survey can record names instead. That choice is fixed once the first responses arrive.
Yes. The administrator adds committee members by name and email, and they sign in with an emailed link, without a password. Each member sees only the surveys they created or that were shared with them.
No. Your app stays on the version you are using until it is moved to a newer one, and we never do that while your voting is open.
The app pauses, but nothing is deleted. Subscribe from your account page and everything is back exactly as you left it, with the trial limits lifted.
Subscribe monthly or annually from your account page at account.votingapp.ca, where you can also change passwords, update contact details and download invoices. Card payments are handled securely by Stripe. Payment by invoice is also available on request.
The complete app, set up for your organization — no card, no commitment. Trials are limited to 5 voter tokens, 10 voters per election or motion, 10 paper ballots per vote and 10 people per survey, which is plenty to walk through a full election end to end. When you subscribe, the limits are lifted and nothing you set up is lost.
